The Batsons are a spooky-kooky family of misfit monsters who reside in Flemme Falls, the capital of Halloween where “awful is lawful and everyone’s mean.” Tweenage Fang Batson fails to fit in because, to his family’s great shame, he tends to be nice. Fang’s teenage sister, Carmilla, is a champion sneak and skulker, but can’t raise a decent crop of zits, much less warts, horns, and scales like the cool ghouls at school. Mad scientists Dadula’s world domination schemes always fizzle. Momula hides her natural neatness behind compulsive dusting…as in spreading dust around the Batson’s bizarre mansion, Tooth Acres.
